For the auto and sound enthusiast, there is a new XplMd® boombox. Workout buffs will love the remote control feature on several new boomboxes, making it easy for an aerobics instructor to fast forward or rewind while leading a class.

With a sturdy design and convenient protective handle bar, the water and dirt-resistant player is ideal for hard-hat work areas, a less-than-clean garage or rugged outdoor use. With an AM/FM tuner, line input for digital music players and MP3 playback, this player lets you enjoy the radio or your own music mix in the open air. The unit will be available in April for about $130.

The hot look of the CFD-G505 boombox rivals the sound that pumps from its large 100mm power drive woofer. With an aggressive XplMd Power Drive design and high power 20W total RMS, this boombox rocks with both power and precision.
