- Connected with a high-definition TV such as Sony’s BRAVIA televisions via an optional Cyber-shot cradle or HD component cable, digital still pictures can be enjoyed with high resolution and stunning clarity (1920 x 1080 pixels).
- Tapping into the expertise gained through the development of the Bionz image processing engine for the DSLR-A100 digital SLR camera, a new processor was developed for the new Cyber-shot cameras. Given the same Bionz name, the processor contributes to higher resolution and faster data processing, ensuring enhanced overall performance of the new models.

- The new Cyber-shot DSC-G1 camera is the world’s first compact camera with a 3.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of nearly one million pixels. It is also Sony’s first model to incorporate wireless technologies for peer-to-peer communications, and is Wi-Fi and Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) compatible.
HandycamHigh Definition Camcorders
Sony’s wide-ranging Handycam product portfolio is on display, including the new HDR-UX7 and HDR-UX5 AVCHD DVD camcorders as well as the HDR-HC7 and HDR-HC5 HDV tape-based models. These four high definition models adopt a new international color standard that Sony calls x.v.Color™, which reproduces a wider color space for moving images compared with the conventional sRGB standard.
