Subject: Sony News: VAIO UX Micro PC Goes Premium w/ Flash Memory
Available this February, Sony is introducing a flash-based version of the much discussed, head-turning VAIO UX Micro PC. The first product offering sold out completely at SonyStyle.com. Now, the latest version of this device--the UX Premium Micro PC--will come equipped with everything the original had, including an Intel Core Solo processor, Wireless LAN and WAN access capabilities, a 4.5 widescreen display and complete keyboard-- all in a size small enough to fit in your pocket.
The key differentiator for the UX Premium Micro PC however, is the unit’s 32GB flash memory drive. This means:
-- Speed: Faster speeds for booting up, accessing programs and writing data to the hard drive
-- Reliability: More reliable data storage because there are no moving parts which are more susceptible to damage due to falls and collisions
-- Battery: No spinning disk means less power consumed creating a longer battery life
The UX Premium Micro PC is Vista-ready and available in black. It will retail for about $2,500. Information on Sony’s complete UX Series line can be found at: www.sony.com/pr/ux
