SONY COMPLETES INSTALLATION OF FLAT-PANEL DISPLAYS IN SKYLOFTS AT MGM GRAND
Sony's Plasma and LCD Displays Integrated Into New Luxury Lofts
LAS VEGAS, May 4, 2005 -- Sony Electronics' professional flat-panel displays are adding a luxurious touch to the new two-story Skylofts at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Sony has installed about 250 plasma and LCD displays, ranging from 32-inch to 50-inch screen sizes, to entertain the most discerning traveler.

Sony products available in the new Skylofts include:
FWD-32LX1 -Sony's latest LCD flat-panel display, the 32-inch FWD-32LX1, is available in silver, black or pearl white with a durable and stylish crystal bezel. Skyloft guests will find the FWD-32LX1 installed in the wall above the suite's infinity-edge bathtub enabling guests to watch their favorite programming in sharp detail while soaking in a soothing bath.
PFM-42X1 - The 42-inch PFM-42X1 plasma display offers advanced technology for enhanced image retention protection and a 60,000 hour panel life. The image performance includes an enhanced contrast ratio with the ability to easily connect with multiple input combinations.
FWD-50PX1 - Ideal for hospitality suites, the 50-inch FWD-50PX1 plasma display is a stylish progressive panel that comes with a durable and stylish crystal bezel and is available in silver, black or pearl white. The FWD-50PX1 also shares the same cable management scheme as the FWD-32LX1, which ensures secure connections.
