Steve Haber is the senior vice president of Personal Mobile and Imaging Division for Sony Electronics, where he is responsible for Personal Audio, Mobile Electronics, Digital Still Cameras, Digital Photo Printer and related accessories. Before his PMID post, Haber was senior vice president of SELs Digital Imaging Products Division.

Formerly, Haber was vice president of marketing for Mobile products where he successfully established Xplod as a Sony sub-brand, tripling the companys amplifier business and increasing the speaker business by more than ten-fold.

Haber was previously director of marketing for Personal Audio, where he set the direction for products and promotions. He was responsible for introducing and kicking-off the Let Your Mind Play promotion.

Since joining the Sony family, and in addition to the positions mentioned above, Haber has assumed many different capacities, including director of sales for the Consumer Audio Video Group/Personal Audio Video where he had overall sales responsibility for general audio, personal video and accessory products. As vice president of MobileComm America he had overall sales responsibility for Mobile Electronics and Telecom product for the United States as well as direct sales force responsibility.

Before joining Sony in 1988, Haber was president and founder of Trolley Stereo, a college audio and video retail and mail order business.

Haber attended Bentley College.
