Peter Dille is Sony Computer Entertainment America’s
senior vice president of Marketing and reports to
President and CEO Jack Tretton. Dille is responsible for
all facets of the company’s marketing efforts in North
America, including the overall PlayStation brand
management, hardware and software marketing, advertising,
creative services, communications, promotions and online
and direct marketing. Dille brings to his position more
than 20 years of marketing experience, including 13 years
of direct experience in the videogame space.
Previously, Dille was senior vice president of Worldwide
Marketing for THQ, a publicly traded global interactive
software publisher. In this role Dille reported to the
President and CEO and was responsible for overseeing the
company’s global brand management strategy and product
planning. Dille also served as THQ’s vice president of
marketing where he oversaw the company’s North American
marketing group including advertising, communications and
promotions as well as THQ’s online presence.
Prior to joining THQ, Dille served as senior director of
product marketing for Sony Computer Entertainment America
and was a key executive in the launch of the original
PlayStation console in 1995. In this role, he managed all
PlayStation advertising and oversaw all hardware, software
and peripheral product marketing. Dille’s eight-year
tenure at Sony also included executive marketing and
communications roles throughout Sony’s interactive
electronic divisions.
Dille received his Bachelor of Administration degree from
Rutgers University.
